St Mary's Church Historic Tour

St Mary’s Church, Church Green Road , Bletchley, MK3 6BJ

Discover our 12th century building with its Norman archway, medieval tomb and discover how the church has been built over time. Visit the War Graves or simply sit and reflect in our restored historic churchyard.

St Mary’s Church is a Grade I listed building dating back to the 12th century. The building is full of character and history with links to many influential people and events in history. Our historic churchyard has a self-guided tour of the Commonwealth War Graves with commemorations of the fallen. Discover the architectural symbolism on our Victorian Gravestones.

Children can explore the building with our interactive quiz. The Church is a member of the “Quiet Garden Movement” so why not sit and enjoy a quiet space? Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and refreshments will be available on both days. Tours will be “self-guided” but volunteers will be available to help as required.

No advance booking required
